Creating a food diary is a great way to keep track of what you are eating. There are many effective ways to keep a food diary. Ideally, you would want to jot down everything you have eaten just after wrapping up a meal. However, this is not always possible. The easiest and most practical way to keep a food diary is to take a few moments at the end of the day to write down what you have eaten that day. Make it a daily habit, just like brushing your teeth. In fact, you can think about what you have eaten during the course of the day as you brush your teeth, and then jot everything down afterwards.

What kind of information should you include in your food diary? Obviously, you want to write down everything that you ate. You must be as lucid and honest as possible.
