I often think about how hard our ancestors would laugh at us as we try to invent new and more fun ways to exercise in order to stay fit or to aid in weight loss. A hundred years ago, just doing the daily chores kept most people in pretty good shape; today, we have modern conveniences that automate everything - even our waistlines!

There are several ways you can incorporate exercise into your present lifestyle without doing jumping jacks, push-ups, sit-ups, or even crunches. And the best part is, you can spend time with your family and enjoy yourself while you are getting fit. Exercising as a family can be a great way to get some quality time with your kids and your partner as well as get some exercise that you all should have. Here are some easy and simple ways that you can get the whole family exercising together:
